Best tools for the job
Excel and broken windows
I do both love and hate Excel. This is particularly true of Excel 2007.
As application support technician at work, training on all office applications is my job, so on Thursday afternoon when I had to deal with the question of how to have to Excel spreadsheets open and visible at the same time (again) I decided enough was enough. I was going to fix Excel’s broken window handling behaviour!

Tuning points
In the last few months I’ve been through 2 major turning points in my life and the first of these I had no choice about it happening, it was forced on me. But turning points are important and in this case while I wouldn’t have chosen for the first turning point to happen, I’m now glad it did.
