I’ve always thought that Nintendo’s approach to the current generation of consoles was the right one. Now that I’ve played with a Wii I know it’s the right way!

4th edition D and D rules
I know this a bit of an old story now, but with everything thats been going on in my life, I’m a bit behind with my posts!
Anyway, the frist of this month saw the long awaited release of the 4th edtion rules for the Dugeons and Dragons role palying game.
So where does this event register on my scale of world changing events?

D and D Co-Creator Gary Gygax Has Passed Away:
Mearlus writes “In the recent past co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons Gary Gygax has worked with Troll Lord Games, a small tabletop RPG publisher. Their forums have up a post noting that Mr. Gygax has apparently passed away. Gygax was known, along with Dave Arneson, as the Father of Roleplaying.” Saddened reactions from well-known designers have already begun to appear online. Consider this is an in-memoriam Ask Slashdot question: How has D and D (and tabletop roleplaying) touched/improved your life?
