It think it’s probably time to take the metal and glass recycling out. Yes I know I should take out more often, but living as a single male, my flat is definitely a bachelor pad and this recycling pile is definitely not the worst you would find in my flat! It is the worst you’ll find on these pages however!

Two follow up images for Friday and Saturday

The odd looking big ugly bird I spotted nesting by the riverside on Tuesday this week, seems to have gone. I’ve not seen after Wednesday morning. I could have just missed the times when it’s at it’s nest, but somehow I think it’s gone. My guess is it was driven off by the large Pigeon population that lives under the old concrete wharfs. Sad really, but that’s nature for you, cold and hard.

As mentioned on Wednesday this week, here is a picture of the doors to the world most dangerous coms room. We have warnings about electric shock, not to eat, drink or smoke in there, security nose and laser warnings, plus notifications about the fire suppression gas system and earth bonding, phew! It’s dangerous in there kid! :}

Another batch of 3 for you!

Today was the day the that my trusty Scott-E-Vest was retired. I have been through a lot with this coat, being made redundant, 2 jobs, 1 recession, lots of interviews and trips to all sorts of places. It’s had a hard 5 or 7 years. It is the item of clothing that I’m almost guaranteed to ware every single day, doesn’t matter if it’s 90 in the shade, I don’t leave my flat without my coat, it’s my toolkit.
And it’s replacement is…another Scott-E-Vest!

This is the door to the world most dangerous IT office!
Okay it’s the door to my IT office, after both health and safety and my manager when mad with the stickers on it. The electric shock one I can understand, but the laser one is apparently because we might have open CD-ROM drives with the lasers exposed. I think he just wants our office to look cool and dangerous. IF you think this is bad wait till you see the coms room doors.

Again spotted on my riverside walk to work. I have no idea what sort of bird this is (not the crow in the bottom right, the other one!) but is sure is big, ugly and making its nest in some flotsam caught by a dead tree in the river.

The next two days!

Some gas works are going on currently along my walk to work (which has closed a road, it’s really odd to walk along a road with no traffic on at all!) Here are some of those really big pipes they use. There is a big stack of these beasties!

I am very surprised how well this image came out! I notice this (hover?) fly on one of the sunflowers at my parents. Yes I know sunflowers are emerging as theme in project 365! I hoped I might be able to catch it, but I didn’t expect too. The image came out very arty looking.
No skill involved in catching this image, just pure luck!

Do do very occasionally tidy my desk. Today was on of those rare times and yes there is something wooden that lurks under all of the paper! I really am going to try and keep it like this in future…no really I am!

If I believed in reincarnation (I don’t) I wouldn’t want to come back as a mushroom. The lot that I took a picture of yesterday are all now gone!

Wow! There are a lot of mushrooms under this tree. You can probably make them out better in the large image linked to by clicking on the image. Spotted in Aztec West again.
