The Olympics

I do love watching the Olympic Games.

Bad Documentaries

The BBC used to be the home of good documentaries. Sadly this is no longer true.
And it’s not just on the BBC that the quality of documentaries is slipping, so is this part of the dumbing down of television in general?

Shaking hands with death

This was the title the speech given by Sir Terry Pratchett’s, for the 34th Dimmbleby lecture.
I had to watch this not only because I’m a fan of all things Pratchett, but also because as I’ve stated before, I do have a (perhaps unhealthy) fascination with death.
